Student Help and Research Days at the Vermont History Center, 60 Washington Street, Barre, Vermont, 9am-4pm
Students can receive help with their projects, research Vermont history topics at the library, or consult with History Day experts. Pre-registration is recommended so that we can best assist you on the day of by pulling materials in advance. Online help via Zoom is also available.

Registration Deadline at 11:59 pm for ALL entries including student info, entry category, and project title. This deadline is in place to allow for time to arrange details for the contest. Please plan ahead!
Late entries will not be accepted.
Use online registration system (preferred).
The registration fee is $10.00 per student. Payment is accepted one of two ways:
- Credit card payments are made through the online registration system.
- Checks may be mailed to the Vermont Historical Society at 60 Washington St. Barre, VT 05641. Registration fees must be paid before the state contest.

Submission Deadline
Papers, Websites and Documentaries must submit all project materials on Zfairs including project, process paper, and annotated bibliography.
- Judges will receive these entries before the contest date and need time to read and review the projects before meeting with students.
- Changes to titles, categories, or participants made after this date may not be reflected in judging assignments or documentation.
Exhibits and Performances must submit process papers and annotated bibliographies on Zfairs.
Note
Schools or parents are responsible for payment of the registration fee for all students registered for the contest on this date.
- Registration fees for students who cancel after this date will not be refunded except under extenuating circumstances.

Vermont History Day will be an in-person contest at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont.

National History Day registration deadline at 11:59 pm for all entries. Submission deadline for websites and papers, including project paperwork (process paper and annotated bibliography).
